Game Overview
The Scientist and the Space Invaders Rid the World of the Curse of the Intergalactic Vampires is a game that aims to encompass a futuristic, stylized third-person action adventure with a tightly integrated soundtrack by Hopeton Brown (The Scientist) that, ultimately, leaves the gamer with satisfying game as well as a copy of his new CD (once the game is beaten), along with more than a few extra materiel rewards and goodies available only through the game.
The object of the game is the player (playing Scientist and his crew of Space Invaders) needs to navigate through a treacherous galaxy to reach Earth, which has been taken over by a sinister Intergalactic Vampire, who's violent legions are spreading through exposure to an evil music that radiates from the Vampire's lair.
Scientist's journey will be a tough one, though, as the Intergalactic Vampire has already corrupted planets along his way. It is up to the player to liberate the stricken planets with Scientist's powerful dub weapons, a group of devices that use sound (dub beats and scratches) and good vibes to turn the evil Vampires into their former peaceful selves. There are many beings that need his help on each planet, and if he completes these secondary missions he is duly rewarded. He must not lag while on each planet, however. Remember, these are Vampires he's after, and if left to their own devices they will multiply.
Along the way he will pick up crew mates to help him, the player will unlock songs from the album and be able to highly customize Scientists' ship, and when the player and Scientist rid the Earth of the Intergalactic Vampire, he will be rewarded with access to the new album to download from the internet (for use on I Tunes, I Pod, etc) as well as having it on his game disc. The music on the game is an element that is to be tightly infused with the game play, as well as its rewards. The intent of the gaming side is that it is a customizable, visually fresh and challenging game,and offers a positive alternative to games that glorify violence and anti-social behavior.
